About Me

Fine, I’ll admit it. I am Rama Prashanth ,

I’m an Engineer pursuing to conceive free will in robots.

I’m possibly the most positive person on the face of Earth. I love building things and you can always find me working on a challenging idea. My pursuit of happ’y’ness is for people to interact, feel happy, one with and trustworthy with technology in their hands. The addictive adrenaline rush you get when the product you build enables others’ lives is what drives me.

Moreover, I’m an adventurer in constant pursuit of finding out who I am. My core quality is I’m a quick and passionate learner. I have become engrossed with the idea “Learn as if you were to live forever” and this is the fuel that keeps our torch of life burning. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to have learned so much and met awesome gem of people leading me to realize that passion is highly inflammable.

Below are some of my skills, and I'm always looking to learn more.

Computer Vision

Significant research experience in Computer Vision with focus on Object Detection, Tracking and Recognition, MultiView Geometry, 3D Computer Vision, SfM/SLAM and Autonomous Navigation. Worked on large-scale datasets to build accurate & scalable Computer Vision algorithms and Perception systems.

Deep Learning

Involved in research projects to create new models, new training methods in areas such as deep generative models, adversarial learning, active learning, reinforcement learning and unsupervised learning as well as drive systems innovations for model efficiency advancement.

Robotics & Artificial Intelligence

My research experiences involve various applications involving the Control, Modeling and Path Planning for Autonomous Robots. I also have worked on projects with Reinforcement Learning and Rehabilitation Robotics.

Over the past, I've had 4+ years of extensive experience with Python in the course of my prior work experiences, research, class and personal projects.

Most of the projects that I have worked on related to Computer Vision and Robotics, I have been programming in C/C++ for over 3+ years.

Software Development

Developed Mobile as well as Web applications with dedicated backend server systems and heavy focus throughout on high scalability, continuous integration, delivery and deployment for over 5+ years now.
